Poor Baby

He looks and probably feels like the unhappiest dog in the world. My poor baby has a severe ear infection and an aural hematoma, which means a blood vessel ripped and his left ear is filled with blood. It's swollen and hot. He has to wear a cone and a ski mask so that he can't shake his ears and also can't scratch them for the next 4 to 6 weeks. The vet wants to see him in 7 to 10 days. My heart aches.

Btw, the first two days of rehab were okay. There's a lot of talking. It's very exhausting, but I'm optimistic that I'll feel better at the end.

I feel so sorry for him. All I wanted to do was to stay at home with him today and cuddle on the couch. But no, it wasn't possible to miss rehab.
