Drabble Cycle: Alternate Universes

femslash100. The theme for this round is Alternate Universes, which sounds pretty awesome. But besides my usual problem - which fandom/pairing to pick - I'm not certain if me and alternate universes would be a good team. It seems difficult to make it work and those attempts I made at writting AUs felt... kinda weird.
Any advices? Suggestions? Fandom/pairing proposals are also welcome :)
